Hi, I'm Paula, and my husband is Steve. We've been together for 27 years. This store is a tribute to my parents, where we uphold their values of honesty and hard work. Our focus of faith, family, and community guides us to always choose what is right over what is easy. With 3 married children, 11 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and 4 cats, our family is a blend of love and joy. Tiki, our Shihtzu provides a lively presence at the store. She enjoys announcing everyone's arrival with a loud bark or two, thinking she's the doorbell.
Steve, a Vietnam Navy veteran with over 50 years of construction experience, was previously a licensed general contractor, home remodeling expert, trim carpenter, and an all-around handyman. In his retirement, he dedicates his time in the "Tiki" Hut (a.k.a. Garage), meticulously repairing, sanding, and painting/staining vintage furniture pieces. Occasionally, he feels inspired to redesign a piece, crafting unique items with care and attention to detail, ensuring they last for decades.
In the store, you will find me working on various projects such as sewing, making signs, wreaths, memory bears, engraving, embroidery, and other personalized handmade creations.
Our daughters, Jena and Jesika, are actively involved in the store, ensuring the color schemes and styles are coordinated and everything is well-balanced, whether it be furniture or displays.
Our driving force is the knowledge that we are providing genuine service to the community by offering rare items, including Bibles and Christian gifts, along with high-quality, durable furniture pieces. We are always ready to assist you in finding the perfect book or gift, or making your vision become reality.
